	The Cabana Shores Hotel property has been in the same family ownership for 59 years and was one of the first Hotels in Myrtle Beach. Dr. James Martin built the Gardenia Terrance in 1946 and operated it with his sons. In 1974 the Gardenia Terrance was torn down, and in its place a new six story hotel was built. Dr Martin's Grandchildren are operating the Inn today, keeping a family tradition of providing guests genuinely warm and friendly hospitality. The major renovation completed Spring 2004 is providing a new generation of guests wonderful and comfortable accommodations.
